I Wonder Who These People Are

I wonder Who These People Are
I've never seen this room before.
I don't even know how I came in.
It's nice to be somewhere new.

I wonder who these people are,
they say they are my family.
I've never seen this room before.

She gives me a cup of tea and I drink
as I watch a car glide past the window,
wondering how I know it's a Ford.

It's nice to be somewhere new.
I've never seen this room before.
I'd like a drink, tea would be nice.

I wonder who these people are,
Are they staying for tea?
I'll have to make some but I don't know where.

everyone seems happy to see me,
they say they are my family.
It's nice to be somewhere new.

I see myself in the mirror,
I know my name is Chris.
I don’t know how I know that.

Did this woman tell me?
I've never seen her before,
I wonder who these people are.

She tells me her name when I ask her,
I knew it all along
but already it is gone.

I wish she wouldn't cry so much.
I’d like a cup of tea. I like this room.
It's nice to be somewhere new.
